NORTHWEST LOOP
This is the most exciting and spectacular adventure in Vietnam. The northwest is still very much off the beaten path and is a captivating blend of dramatic landscapes and colorful hill tribes. This adventure takes you through stunning and isolated areas, which have changed little over time yet is steeped in history. You will not only experience real rural Vietnam but will also meet and talk to numerous different ethnic minority groups who are very pleased to welcome you into their world.
Day 01: Ha Noi - Mai Chau (170kms)
- 07:30 pick up at your hotel for a land drive towards Hoa Binh province. Throughout green fields of tapioca, sugar cane to terrace paddies of the arrival of Lac village of the white Thai minority.
- After lunch, we take a roundabout biking from Lac village through out Na Fon – Ban Nhot – Pieng Phung – Na Meo – Van village of the white Thai minority (2 hours)
- Sunset time is time for you to independently stroll on pleasant lanes, here you probably see women weaving on looms under or inside their houses and shop their traditional style clothing for your home souvenir.
- Dinner and Overnight with the white Thai Minority on silt house.

Day 02: Mai Chau - Moc Chau – Son La – Dien Bien (250kms)
- Drive to visit Moc Chau is a mountain town at the elevation of 1500 m above the sea, home to the green H’Mong, the Dzao and the Muong ethnic minorities and famous for Its plantations of green tea and milk fresh from the cow
- Visit and collect captivating pictures from the mountain ethnic minority villages dotted on the way
- Drive up hill to see Son La for lunch
- After lunch go to visit the old colonial prison of Son La
- Drive over Pha Din Pass of 32km length to reach Dien Bien Phu, the town of old battle field. Dinner and stay overnight in Him Lam resort – A tranquil area for night

Day 03: Dien Bien Phu - Paso (200kms)
- After breakfast, another drive to Dien Bien Phu
- Flexible for you to visit Dien Bien Phu old battle field and the war remnant museum, the A1 hill or cemetery for who died in the war or not
- Visit the hot-spring on the way to Paso
- Dinner and overnight in Paso – a quite place among the mountain and forest

Day 04: Paso - Tam Duong – Sa Pa (120kms) – Home-stay
- Driving over this thread road is a worth visit to the Heavenly gate and Binh Lu deep valley, partitioned by the Fansipan mountain range and Chinese border a beautiful stretch of road with Silver waterfalls.
- Arrive in Sa Pa at around 11h30.
- After lunch, a jeep to Lao Chai village for a trek through Lao Chai of the black H’mong – Ta Van of the Zday – Giang Ta Chai of the red Zdao minority.
- Stay overnight in a red Dzao family to get to know the ethnic minorities’ culture and customs

Day 05: Giang Ta Chai – Su Pan village – Sa Pa
- Get up earlier to observe the daily life of the households, prepare breakfast
- Trek alongside Muong Hoa stream to Su Pan of the Tay minority, awarded the untouched area, special mysterious scenery of forest
- Trek up to the main road for the jeep to return hotel for a relaxing night.

Day 06: Sa Pa – Hanoi (3 options)
Opt1:
- We take a trek to visit Cat Cat village, Cat Cat waterfall and water power station, visit the Black H’mong minority
- In the after noon free time until 18h30 take a bus to Lao Cai station for the night train back to Hanoi, the train ticket cost extra 25 USD/person (transfer from Hanoi train station to hotel is not included)
Opt2:
Drive back to Hanoi throughout 10-12hrs with lunch on the way
Opt3:
- You can extend your trip to visit the below ethnic minority markets and an extra for a car is 30$US
- Bac Ha Market on Sunday morning
- Can Cau market on Saturday morning
- Coc Ly market on Tuesday morning

NORTHEAST ADVENTURE

Day 01:
Hanoi – Bac Kan - Ba Be National Park
- Pick up at your hotel, head up the northeast, visit the museum of Ethnology in Thai Nguyen. You will have chance to get general information on ethnic minority groups in Vietnam.
- Drive up to Bac Kan mountain province then have lunch.
- Continue driving to Ba Be National Park
- You will enjoy a tranquil night among primitive forest and high mountains

Day 02:
Boating around Ba Be lake
- A day to find out the unique lake 500 hectares on mountains - 145m above the sea
- Trek up 2km to the lake for a boat trip throughout the lake 1, 2, 3.
- Continue boating along Nang river, enjoying the stunning landscapes among high mountains and primitive forest, visit a village of Tay minority by the riverbank, Puong cave and enjoy lunch at Dau Dang waterfall.
- In the afternoon boat back to the lake, visit the fairy pond. Swimming and enjoying sunset covering on the lake face with fishing boats homing in hurry
- Dinner and overnight on the traditional stilt house of the Tay in Bac Ngoi hamlet could be a worth chance to talk and learn about the culture, typical custom of the Tay minority

Day 03:
Ba Be – Bac Me – Ha Giang
- Say good bye to the villagers for new destinations
- Drive out of the Park upward Bac Me – Ha Giang on secluded paths, stopover for pretty scenery pictures and visits to ethnic minority villages nearby the roads
- Dinner and overnight in Ha Giang town to prepare for the next day special

Day 04:
Ha Giang – Quan Ba – Yen Minh – Dong Van – Meo Vac
Dong Van and Meo Vac - the highest frontier points of Vietnam Nation bordering with China, restricted area in the past but lately opening to welcome adventure visitors. Terrain of rugger rock mountains high and sharp, the local people had spent 38 years to construct to the road especially the workers had to hang to work on the rugger rock cliffs during 11 months and they named this thread road is The Road of Happiness
- 07:30 head upon the unique thread road to Quan Ba. Enjoy spectacularly landscape at the Heaven Gate Sa Phin
- Driving up, viewing Ma Pi Leng huge peak, Nho Que deep river and the Parallel hill – the simple of Ha Giang province
- After lunch in Dong Van, we continue our special drive to Meo Vac home to Lo Lo and Flower H’mong minority
- Dinner and overnight in Muong village, the most remote village of the country

Day 05:
Meo Vac – Ha Giang – Viet Quang
- Say good bye to Meo Vac, we drive back to Dong Van on the same way, this is because of the unique road and ended in Meo Vac.
- Visit Dong Van market and the ancient palace of King Cat (Dinh Ho Vuong)
- Head down to Ha Giang and then turn right toward Viet Quang for overnight

Day 06:
Viet Quang – Tuyen Quang – Hanoi
- Drive parallel Song Lo river to get to Tuyen Quang
- Visit the Citadel of Ho dynasty and then lunch
